Litigation Support
The company provides arbitration support and expert witness services for law firms and directly for local government jurisdictions. The nature of these analyses are similar to our other services and areas of specialization: operational and fiscal analyses of various aspects of local government operations. In this capacity, we have served counsel and local government jurisdictions directly in matters including: property tax impacts of annexations and reconfigured jurisdictions; department staffing needs and costs; municipal incorporation property tax transfer analyses; fiscal status analysis of various local government entities; retirement funding analysis; analysis of appropriateness of user fees; and compliance and fiscal impact of state mandates. We have also provided support in criminal proceedings for cases involving alleged embezzlement of local government entity funds.
